Reverend Dr. Robert Ross

The Reverend Dr. Robert Ross has a background that is both impressive and eclectic. He earned his Ph.D. in Religious Studies and Philosophy from Harvard University in 1973. He went on to teach at Skidmore College in New York until 1980 when he moved on to work as a Consulting Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation. Since his ordination as a minister in 1996, he has found that his work with organizational transition, mediation, and dispute resolution in the private sector has translated into the pastoral context of his ministries. He is a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and is a member of the Massachusetts Corps of Fire Chaplains. He is the author of numerous publications and is completing a book titled, Walking to New Orleans: Ethics and the Concept of Participatory Design in Post-Disaster Reconstruction. He has traveled extensively and pursues a wide range of interests, including leading a Cajun and Zydeco band, les cigognes. He is pictured here with his furry friend, Buddy.
